Cheryl teaches in a patient, supportive
and friendly environment. She enjoys helping students find their own voice
and sense of style within the broader fiddle tradition. Teaching integrates
applied music theory and ear training to enhance the learning experience,
and she teaches reading standard notation as an adjunct skill rather than
the primary mode of learning.
Fun stuff includes jam sessions for the students, pizza parties and
