Cheryl’s love of fiddling is genuine and contagious. Fiddling is awesome Fun, and if we’re not having fun, then well, not much learning will take place!
Cheryl grew up surrounded by music at home, and studied classical piano for years. She started fiddling in 2001, and spent many years fiddling with Stan Jackson, and more recently Eileen Walters. She is an active member in many community organizations—Gone Fiddling Again, Broadway Grange, Zillah Lions Club, Blue Mountain Old Fiddlers, Washington OTF, and Oregon OTF.
As Director of Gone Fiddling Again 501(c)(3), a non profit org., Cheryl is actively involved in bringing the American traditional art form of fiddling to the Yakima Valley. A few of the ways she accomplishes this – is through monthly music jams, private lessons, workshops, fiddle kids club, community functions -- to name just a few!
